I've seen this, also. That trip I took while at Furman introduced me to a lot of the things we're reading about. It was a gift that I am still discovering how valuable it was. It was a class on Ancient History and The Missionary Journeys of Paul. We stated in Turkey, traveled to Greece, Italy, Switzerland, France (spend about 4-5 days in the Louvre) and England (spent another 4-5 days in the British Museum).
The Hagia Sophia is indeed a magnificent structure and it is again amazing to me how it has withstood wind, weather and war.
